The Columbus Catholic Young Adult Conference is a one day Conference in the Diocese of Columbus that seeks to empower young adults to transform their communities through their identity in Christ. The Conference open at 10AM on October 19 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church (10700 Liberty Rd S Powell, Ohio 43065) and the theme this year is Rev. 3:20: "Behold I stand at the door and knock". This year's keynote speakers are Fr. Pat Schultz from the Diocese of Cleveland and Sr. Meredith Boquiren OCD from the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. They will be talking about Identity and Surrender as necessary elements to open the door to Christ waiting on us. We also have 8 breakout sessions which address tremendously interesting topics specifically tailored for young adults. With your registration you'll also enjoy complimentary breakfast, lunch and dinner!

What they are saying…

One of the things that has most stuck with me from the conferences I have attended is just how widespread the Catholic Young Adult community is in Columbus. It has been amazing to see how the conference brings together young adults from all different backgrounds and parishes and to witness the variety of ways that young people are living out their Catholic faith.

I really enjoyed talking to the different exhibitors at the conference. There was one table full of beautiful twine rosaries. I mentioned that I was interested in learning how to make them. The exhibitor was so nice, she offered to teach me, and we ended up meeting for coffee. It’s been so much fun. I just made a bunch for one of my parish’s PSR classes.

I believe this conference is a springboard for young adult ministry in the Diocese of Columbus, and I look forward each year to all the Lord will do through this initiative.
— Kate
Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.
